Tussionex Pennkinetic

If you have allergies or the common cold, you may find relief with Tussionex® Pennkinetic® (hydrocodone polistirex/chlorpheniramine polistirex). This prescription product contains two medications -- a narcotic cough suppressant and an antihistamine.
 
Although many people do not have any problems while taking this medicine, Tussionex Pennkinetic can cause side effects, such as dizziness, drowsiness, and constipation. Fortunately, if negative reactions do occur, they tend to be mild and easily treated.
 
Tussionex Pennkinetic comes in the form of a liquid and is taken twice a day, with about 12 hours between doses. Make sure not to mix this drug with other liquids or medicines, as it may cause Tussionex Pennkinetic to be released into the body too quickly and increase the chance of side effects.
