Tavist Uses

Off-Label Uses for Tavist

On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend Tavist for something other than the approved uses listed above (this would be known as an "off-label" use). Off-label uses of this medication include:
 
  • Treating allergic skin reactions (such as hives)
  • Preventing negative reactions to certain IV medications (such as some chemotherapy drugs)
  • Treating morning sickness (see Tavist and Pregnancy).
