Pregnancy and Tavist: Final Thoughts

If you are pregnant or are thinking about becoming pregnant, let your healthcare provider know. He or she will consider the benefits and risks of taking Tavist during pregnancy before making a recommendation in your particular situation. Do not take this medication during pregnancy without first discussing it with your healthcare provider. It is probably best to avoid Tavist during the first trimester until more information is available.
