Pseudoephedrine 240 mg Tablets

Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant found in many different medications. It is especially useful for relieving nasal congestion due to allergies or the common cold and for treating sinus congestion and pressure. The medication comes in several different forms and strengths, including a liquid, immediate-release tablets, and extended release tablets (which are available in two strengths: 240 mg tablets and 120 mg tablets).

For extended-release pseudoephedrine 120 mg tablets (such as Sudafed 12 Hour), the recommended dosage for adults and children 12 years and older is one tablet every 12 hours. For extended-release 240 mg pseudoephedrine tablets (such as Sudafed 24 Hour), the suggested dosage is one tablet once a day.
