Neo-Synephrine Uses in Children

Neo-Synephrine Mild Strength (phenylephrine hydrochloride 0.25%) and Neo-Synephrine Nighttime (oxymetazoline hydrochloride 0.05%) sprays are approved for use in children as young as six years old.
 
Neo-Synephrine Regular Strength (phenylephrine hydrochloride 0.5%) and Extra Strength (phenylephrine hydrochloride 1%) sprays are approved for use in children as young as 12 years old. Talk with your child's healthcare provider about the risks and benefits of using Neo-Synephrine for your particular child.
 

Off-Label Uses for Neo-Synephrine

On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend this medication for something other than the uses discussed in this article (this would be known as an "off-label" use). Off-label uses of Neo-Synephrine include:
