Cold Home > Neti Pot Information

An important part of Ayurvedic medicine, neti pots have become quite popular in Western cultures as well. What is a neti pot? It is shaped much like a teapot or an Aladdin's lamp and is used to flush out the nasal passages with a saline solution. Nasal irrigation can wash away excess mucus and allergens (such as bacteria and pollen) and reduce the inflammation of the lining of the nasal and sinus cavities.
