Currently, there is no common cold vaccine. Unfortunately, because many viruses cause the cold, it is unlikely that there will be a common cold vaccine anytime soon. In the meantime, scientists search for better methods of treating and preventing the common cold.
There is no common cold vaccine. Because so many different viruses can cause the common cold (see Causes of Common Cold), the outlook for developing a common cold vaccine that will prevent transmission of all of them is dim.
