Extreme exhaustion Never Early and prominent
Stuffy nose Common Sometimes
Sneezing Common Sometimes
Sore throat Common Sometimes
Chest discomfort, cough Mild to moderate; hacking cough Common; can become severe
 

Treatment of Cold and Flu Symptoms

Treatment
-Antihistamines
-Decongestants
-Aspirin, acetaminophen (such as Tylenol®), or ibuprofen for aches and pains
-Aspirin, acetaminophen, or ibuprofen for aches, pains, and fever
-Antiviral medicines (see your healthcare provider)
