  • Liver disease, including liver failure, cirrhosis, or hepatitis
  • Kidney disease, such as kidney failure (renal failure)
  • A penicillin allergy
  • Any other allergies, including to food, dyes, or preservatives.
     
Also, let your healthcare provider know if you are:
 
Tell your healthcare provider about all medicines you are taking, including prescription and nonprescription medications, vitamins, and herbal supplements.

What If I Take an Overdose of Augmentin XR?

People who take too much of this medication may have overdose symptoms that could include:
 
  • Abdominal pain (stomach pain)
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Rash
  • Hyperactivity
  • Drowsiness
  • Kidney damage.
